Truthfull, humerous, sad and Excellent use of humor And frustrAtion in a unique situation. Would of liked a more descript ending but reaLity was : who knows what the future and life wIll throw us. Obviously a medicAl error 😣Thoughtful reflections on marriage and lasting love. This is a beautifully written, compelling, and heartfelt book about so much more than the medical mishap that changed the lives of an easy-going, ordinary couple in their sixties. It's a powerful and poignant exploration of fear, forgiveness and lasting love.Together Together by Judy Goldman is a free NetGalley ebook that I read in early January.Goldman is so mindful and in the moment with such heart and absolute memory, as well as feeling torn on if to appear compliant and nice or filled with rage and blame. This bind leads a reader to be at her side of all things from page one. Her husband, Henry, undergoes an injection-based procedure to lessen his back pain and immediately loses feeling in his limbs/extremities. True to the title, it is a story told between a marriage (in and of itself and within her family) and a medical mishap - to the point that it’s hard to resettle into a relationship after being brought to near-anxiety over this mishap. One of the first books I’ve read that tells a relationship’s history alongside the present-day to see how it influences decision-making and one’s outlook.

This wonderful planner needs better planning! First off, let me be clear...I LOVE this woman's work. I have gleefully used her magical 2018 planner to chart a better life for myself. Everyone who has seen it has commented on how beautiful it is...I had a blast coloring it in and then writing in my observations on each and every page. I hope Ms. Cesari keeps making these! However....The 2019 planner was SUCH a disappointment when it arrived. No spiral binding! The bound version (the only version available when I ordered) has the wonderful paper quality, and of course, the fun drawings and supportive writings of the previous planner. But the binding is NOT up to daily use. I have just completed coloring in the entire planner...getting it ready to use for the 2019 year...and it has already fallen apart! Damn!A friend noted that later in 2018 a spiral version of the 2019 planner became available and ordered it. However, this must have been a rush job, as this version greatly suffers from very poor paper quality. Since we actually use and handle these planners, now we are both stuck! Neither planner is up to snuff.Please, please, if this delightful magical planner is to continue...PLAN FOR IT BETTER! I am holding mine together with giant clips, and my friend can use only light pencil in hers as the paper bleeds through. Both are not very useful for actual planner usage.Thin - rough - cheap - paper No good for coloring. The paper is impossible to color and have it look good at all. The pictures are simple and cute. The contents of the book are nice. I would not have purchased if I had seen it in person first.This planner is just what I need Just received today. I have skimmed through it and can't wait to start using it. The monthly calendar is large enough to put all my important info in and allow me to see what's going on at a glance. The weekly pages gives me lots of space daily to record important information plus there is space for my daily tarot reading. Plus there is so many different things to color. I am glad I spent the extra money to get the spiral bound one because I find it easier to write in. I haven't read all the information, spells, crafts etc. But just skimming through they look like they will be interesting

Interesting, Inspirational, and Revealing This is an autobiography of Duck Dynasty's founding father, Phil Robertson. It is an absolutely fascinating read. You may recall that Phil's comments to GQ magazine caused quite a furor in 2013, and you probably either love or hate the show based on his family on A&E cable channel. This book, among other things, puts his comments in perspective - something the mass media did not attempt to do.And, it does a lot more than that. I even learned a lot more than I knew about hunting and duck calls. In fact I had no idea the duck call business could be that good -- but, I've read elsewhere that the business has made him worth about $20 million. Warning: if you are a PETA member you will hate this guy. He spends a lot of time hunting and eating what he hunts - definitely not a vegetarian.Robertson has been many things: oil field worker, bar owner, rake, hunter, commercial fisherman, inventor (of duck calls), salesman and preacher. Mostly he is a hunter and very good father and husband. He is also a very smart man, belying his "redneck" persona. This book takes you through the whole progression of his life from childhood to his present life as a multi-millionaire semi-retired businessman, speaker, head of a close and loving family, lay evangelist, and reality television star.Along the way he clearly shows how his practical philosophy and spiritual life developed. It seems like he really has found the secret of creating a loving family productive over several generations and found a way to be happy, happy, happy no matter the external circumstances.The result is a great read which is inspirational, comforting to the religious or the troubled, and which makes you look at the Duck Dynasty show with new, and perhaps more sympathetic, eyes. He tells a great story. Whether you agree with him or not, like the show or not, or haven't seen it, you will find this read worthwhile. It made me "Happy, Happy, Happy."True Life Story God changed his life for the good Ok if you are a Duck Dynasty fan, I really think you are going to enjoy this. If you do not want to hear about God's grace and how it changed Phil Robertson's life, you may want to skip this book. I believe it is an even balance of regular life and how God is dispersed through it. I really enjoyed his point of view and learning how he grew up and Duck Commander started. I hope my opinion helps you in purchasing this book.
